This course covers the basic development and application of GRTMPS planning models. In addition to familiarizing attendees with the technology and terminology of linear programming, they will learn what is required to define a planning model. Students will then use GRTMPS to perform basic modeling operations, as well as further being exposed to its techniques and capabilities.

  • Linear Programming
  • Refinery Modeling Basics
  • Introducing GRTMPS
  • Purchases and Sales Modeling
  • Basic Process Unit Modeling
  • Specification Blend Modeling
  • Transportation and Multi-period Modeling
  • Recursion and Pooling
  • GRTMPS Solution Details and Analysis
  • Special Topics

Topics and timing will vary depending on the experience level of the participants.

Course length: 2½ to 4 days.

Wednesday: 1:30 PM Start Time

Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
