Interactive Crude Data Manager

The most time consuming and difficult part of adding crude assay data to a crude assay library is the preparation of the data. iCDM saves crude-oil evaluators days or weeks of time, while producing a more accurate and reliable crude assay database. In addition to its graphical display capability, iCDM comes complete with data entry and data management screens, including screens to enter observed yield and property data, and screens to enter detailed gas chromatography data, if available. iCDM can be used to:

    Enter, smooth, and graphically display laboratory crude assay data;
    Store published crude assays in a computer database;
    Graphically compare a current crude assay to a reference assay;
    Extend a partial assay when some data is missing.

icdm.gif (203865 bytes)iCDM is a full Windows PC-based system that solves the problem of getting crude oil laboratory data into a usable form. The user works through a series of menu and input screens to enter lab data. These data may be saved and later retrieved to make any necessary additions or corrections. Once lab data have been entered, they may be viewed graphically where the data may be smoothed, adjusted or augmented interactively. Smoothed crude oil data is then output to a library for use as input to CAL-II.
