The class will begin with a short review of H/CAMS including information on the crude file, the project file and the hgr file. We will continue with CAL2 related basic topics: cutting, blending, and reviewing results. This will be followed by a review of iCDM: cdm and cru files, data-check, and evaluation. We will spend considerable time on smoothing and the re-cut report.  Finally, we will explore advanced CAL2 topics such as interface configuration, yield blend, and split inefficiency.

Who Should Attend
This course is intended for planners, process engineers, and plant engineers who regularly require good crude information. This class will unlock powerful advanced features for experienced H/CAMS users. Attendees should have several months of H/CAMS experience or have previously attended the standard 2-day H/CAMS training offered by Haverly Systems.

The course includes hands-on exercises so students must bring a laptop computer with H/CAMS already installed.
